About the event
We are excited to welcome back James Gray to our Taproom stage!
James is a contemporary version of an old-school traveling folk singer. Gray has toured Canada, Europe, and Australia in the past decade, seeing the world and sharing his beloved songs along the way.
A unique finger-style guitarist, with a hauntingly beautiful vocal, Gray, often accompanied by a rather comical, humorous stage patter, immerses himself in every song with a soulfulness and infectious and disarming attack. With a broad grin and good-natured chuckle, Gray will often smile into the microphone and state matter-of-factly that he wants you to remember who he is.
Gray has performed at the Mariposa Folk Festival, the Troubadour Festival, and the Muskoka Music Festival in central Ontario. When not touring, he plays a regular circuit of pubs, theaters, and house concerts throughout Ontario.
